I still remember it like it was yesterday.
George Washington inside the US Capital Building
It was the spring of 2004 and my girlfriend at the time had this book on tape that had been floating around in the back of the car for over a year. I was sick of listening to the radio so I asked, “What is it?” She replied, “It’s a book on tape,” I was like sure anything accept the radio. The next 90 minutes changed my mind.
Next thing she said she was going to Barnes n Noble and I asked her, “What is that?” She said they sell books; I went because I wanted to spend time with her, 4 hours later she was pulling me out of the store. I had read through half of the book I had listened to on cassette, Rich Dad Poor Dad.
That was the beginning of the end and since then I cannot count on both my hands & feet and your family’s hands & feet the number of books, courses, classes, audio books, workshops I’ve put in my head.
Now let me fast forward to today. Since that first cassette I’ve also learned a lot from trying several business and taken my hits. The lessons you can get out of library books are a lot cheaper than the street I can assure you on this. I’ll be the first to admit that the road less traveled by an entrepreneur is a very lonely one and it’s definitely not straight but, that’s what makes it fun. You never know what’s going to be thrown in your lap next.
Some people ask well how do you do it? It’s easy on a iMac. Then I ask them how do you go to work?
Truth is I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Semper Fi!

DARYL, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP. I’M IN!!
Tell me about your mentoring and how it differs from every other mentor. I’m new to the industry and haven’t had much luck with the family/friends route.
Thank you,
jeff
Jeff I’d like to first say thanks for dropping by & deciding to make the decision to become a top 3% Leader. I’d like to share with you that I did the same when I was introduced to the industry. I quickly found out why 97% fail and why I fell into that 97%. When I started to ask my sponsor at the time to questions on marketing and free lead generating I was told to keep making a list.
I then started to think for myself instead of just being a follower. I made a conscious effort to become a Top 3% Leader.
I now mentor entrepreneurs how to have people contacting them who are already interested instead of contacting friends and family or anybody else with a system that is proven to work if you are coachable & teachable.
If you have any additional questions please send me an email to dhill@darylhill.com
