I'd like to share with you that I did the same when I was introduced to the industry. I quickly found out why 97% fail and why I fell into that 97%. When I started to ask my sponsor at the time to questions on marketing and free lead generating I was told to keep making a list. I then started to think for myself instead of just being a follower. I made a conscious effort to become a Top 3% Leader. I now mentor entrepreneurs how to have people contacting them who are already interested instead of contacting friends and family or anybody else with a system that is proven to work if you are coachable & teachable.
