hey buddy… not sure if you remember me from the football days at Navy, but I found you looking around for stories of some of my friends from USNA for Memorial Day here at our church. Just found your entry on Rich Dad, Poor Dad and thought I would give you a shout. I LOVE that book and am passionate about living debt free and building wealth. Just thought I would touch base with you and get an update. If you want a snapshot of my life these days, go to : http://huggsblog.wordpress.com
Hi Martin,
I sent you an invite on Facebook. If I remeber right you were a Plebe when I was a senior.
I checked out your blog too cool. What are you doing for work now?
Your friend,
Daryl
Daryl,
Sean Mulcahy here, USNA 2002. We had been in touch back in 2007, when I was getting out of the Corps. My wife and I are currently in DC and looking for a real estate agent to help us purchase a condo. I remember you saying that you knew a bunch of folks in the area and was wondering if you could recommend anyone?
Thanks,
Sean
Hi Sean great to hear from you! Do you need help getting out of the Corps too? I’ve helped a lot of Marines with finding work in the DC area that is what I do in the reseves for the Marine For Life Program.
Sean,
I live in Rockville, MD and I have a couple real estate agents I could suggest.
I’m USNA Class of ‘97 and Marine. I can also help with the DC job market too.
My brother is class of 2003 (Dan Sweatman).
Sweaty
Tom,
Was your sponsor Mom Ms. Hoffer? I think I used to see Dan over there all the time, and she would talk about you being in the Corps. But maybe my memory is failing?
Anyway, My Mother lives over in Rockville as well, in King Farm. My wife and I are under contract with a place near Old Town and things are going well. I’ll be starting at Gonzaga College High School in the Fall teaching and coaching. Do you work in the District or over in Rockville.
Good to catch up man. I’ll stay in touch.
Sean
Sweaty, Daryl,
I don’t know if either one of you remember me. I was out of football by the time D Hill was there and I was too young on the rugby team when Sweaty was there. Sweaty, you were one of my firsties though I think. Were you in Fun 1 firstie year?
I hope you fellas are doing well. Might be worth a trip up to DC soon to link up. I’m down in Va Beach right now and definitely want to start working smarter on viral marketing for RuckPack. Teach me, oh great ones! Daryl, I’m still playing a bit of catch up and will call this week. Want to make sure I’ve gleaned everything I can about you on the web so you don’t have to waste your time teaching me what I should already know!
Take care,
Dobber Dyer
